We effectively do nothing for growth at the moment. Users are growing organically. Now that our product has matured, we're seeking a growth veteran to join as the arbiter of growth (consumer marketing, not B2B) and help scale the business. As our first growth hire, you'll create the strategy with our CEO / Co-founder and then execute against it, with at least 1 in-house FTE to help you to start. We have recently acquired some interesting assets that should allow you to hit the ground running. We are not looking for someone who wants to come in and simply run a $100k/mo performance marketing campaign against FB and Google; that can be part of it, but we can be more creative than that
Define the consumer marketing strategy comprised of creative paid and organic growth initiatives
Plan, develop, and execute this marketing strategy to scale new user acquisition, working with various marketing channels (content/blog, SEO, FB groups, customer email campaigns, affiliates, paid social, PPC, product-led growth features, etc.)
Manage the marketing calendar, scheduling and working on initiatives with relevant teammates (product/eng, design, operations)
Analyze results and iterate on approaches
Create and manage MonitorMyRefi's marketing budget.
3+ years of consumer marketing / growth experience for app-based products (and ideally web-based products)
Experience toggling between multiple growth channels (content/blog, SEO, FB groups, customer email campaigns, affiliates, paid social, PPC, product-led growth features, etc.)
Experience working at a rapidly scaling tech company, or a rapidly growing product within a tech company
Structured thinking and oustanding communication (written+oral) skills; we think these skills go hand-in-hand
Willingness to roll up your sleeves and get in the weeds (e.g. do the first rough design, write the blog post outline, double-check content for excellence, etc.)
Experience building a team around you, as marketing efforts scale up
Other table stakes stuff: analytical ability, attention to detail, organization skills, personable demeanor, competitive spirit
Strongly preferred: experience in fintech and/or financial services
